There are many anti-anxiety meds that you could try (but only prescribed by a psychiatrist). In addition, cognitive behavior therapy is a useful form of talk-therapy that will help you analyze the anxiety provoking thoughts, and help you replace these with balanced thoughts. One more recommendation is to join a support group for people with anxiety. You may learn that you and they are all “normal”, but you just need to learn how to manage catastrophic thinking.
